For home theater, a decent 4K screen will most likely look better than a FullHD screen. But 8K and beyond? I really don\u2019t know about that. At least not for watching a good movie. Paul Ream\u2019s remake of the famous James Bond promo video for the 2012 film <em>Skyfall<\/em> sends 007 off on a mission to save the world from the evils of 8K video. Over at <em>CineD<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/oh-oh-8k-do-we-really-need-more-than-4k\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Olaf von Voss<\/a> discusses the video, arguing that camera manufacturers should \u201cfocus on perfecting 4K capture rather than jumping on the 8K and beyond bandwagon just because they can.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With most consumers still viewing content in FullHD, von Voss contends that 4K hasn\u2019t truly arrived, let alone 8K.
